CIE Australia 75th Anniversary Celebration Thursday 24th August 2023 CIE Australia was founded as the Australian National Committee on Illumination (ANCI) and held its first meeting on 3rd March 1948 in Sydney. We held a celebration of the 75 years of our existance, including history of the organisation and reflections from CIE Australia luminaries on developments in their fields over the years they have been involved. The event was attended by 20 people in person and 7 people online. There were five presentations, as shown below. On the same day prior to the celebration was a CIE Australia Research Students' Workshop, and afterwards was dinner at a local restaurant.

Afterwards: Dinner at a local restaurant. The 75th Anniversary Celebration is free for all attendees, though the dinner afterwards is at a cost.
Registration is closed. The registration page includes registration for the CIE Australia 75th Anniversary and also for the Research Students Workshop. Registration for the dinner can be made up to Tuesday 22nd August (we need to give final numbers to the restaurant).
Dinner will be held afterwards from 6:30 pm onwards at: Baccomatto Osteria Price is $80 per person, which includess a banquet dinner and limited drinks. The restaurant is a short walk from the UNSW campus.
