CIE Australia Research Students' Workshop 2023, Part 2

This was a follow-up to the CIE Australia Research Students' Workshop held in February 2023. The main intention is to continue communication between the research student and supervisor community and to plan topics for the next Research Students' Workshop to be held in February 2024. On the same day following the workshop was the CIE Australia 75th Anniversary Celebration and dinner at a local restaurant.
The workshop was attended by eight students (in person and online) plus academics and members from industry. CIE Australia Secretary Gillian Isoardi presented a talk on Data Visualisation for Lighting (note that some of the slides have been modified to remove confidential content) and we helped some students discuss and possibly solve some stumbling blocks in their research.
The outline was as follows:
- Introductions & Updates on recent progress and/or obstacles encountered
- Good data visualisation: presenting your lighting research in print and on stage
- Open floor / Q&A session
- Topics for next workshop, February 2024

The workshop is free for all attendees.
Registration is now closed. The registration page includes registration for the workshop and also for the CIE Australia 75th Anniversary celebrations. Registration for the dinner can be made up to Tuesday 22nd August (we need to give final numbers to the restaurant).
